liked it

I was captivated by the book jacket, but disappointed once inside. The characters were not well developed at all. There were actually points that I was enthralled with the plot and couldn't put it down. Not familiar at all with the areas where the book took place, however, I felt I could have used a map while reading it. In the end, I discovered a major literary flaw in that he had two plot lines running through the book (confusing as it was) and it wasn't revealed until the end that they were from two different time periods! Wacky, for sure. I even went back to see if I had missed the distinction there, but apparently not. In the end, I felt like the book had a neat message and I appreciated some of the truths it shared. Just very poorly written, I suppose.
