it was ok

This being my first Manga book; I feel I may need to give a different one a chance. The reading backwards did not bother me as much as I thought it would; I just couldn't get into the story line. That being said I can see how 4th to 8th graders would totally get into it. It has action, humor, fighting, and isn't a long read. The main character Naruto reminds me of the little brother in the family trying to be like his older siblings. He seems to have a lot to learn but hasn't realized it yet. Sasuke and Sakura are Naruto's teammates, but as I said before they act more like siblings. They argue and get on each other's nerves, but in the end fight for each other as well. This being a Manga the pictures are all done in black and white, but I could still see the blood and hurt in the pictures while fighting took place. It was a little hard for me to follow the story plot; I felt like it jumped around too much. But if I were into comic books, action figures, and heroes that may not have been as hard for me. Overall I can see young boys especially getting into this volume of Manga; it just wasn't appealing to me.
