really liked it

I thought this book did a good job as a friends to lovers romance. The book wasn't particularly steamy, but mostly focused on the emotional portion of the romance between life long friends Lord Sorin Latham and Lady Eleanor Cramley. I thought it did a good job of covering the internal indecision and doubts that can come with discovery that you have feelings for someone you've known for a long time. The one thing that I found kind of odd was that Sorin thought that it was such a big deal that he was 12 (nearly 13) years older than Eleanor, when during that historical period it was pretty common for a man to be much older than his wife.

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review.
