This is an inspirational romance so religion is a strong part of the story and it is "sweet" meaning there's no heat and no sexual tension. What there is is sweet, heart-tugging, inspiration at its very best.

Morwenna has an invitation to go to Cancun with other members of her Manhattan ad group for the Christmas holiday. Her boyfriend wants her to go with him. She wants to go home to the mountains of Virginia to be with her family. To her chagrin, he goes without her and she heads home, knowing that there will probably be bickering and accusations, but it's home. Her older brother, Shane, is going through a rough divorce and her younger brother, Bobby, is "trying to find himself". Their father is a Philadelphia D.A. with a no-nonsense attitude and their mother is...a mother. During the height of a snowstorm, a stranger lands on their doorstep. He's hurt and has no identification, but they bring him in anyway. He claims to be a cop on the lookout for an escaped felon. Leery of his story, they bring him in and make him part of the family celebration. When another stranger shows up, this one dressed as a cop and claiming he's the real officer, they aren't sure what to do. The first man is kind, generous, full of light. The "cop" is the opposite - dark, angry, determined. What follows is a sometimes confusing story, but one that keeps you guessing until the very end just who really is who. Or what.

It's a story full of Christmas spirit, believing in miracles, family, and all the warm fuzzies that go with the season. This one is sure to please those who like sweet, sometimes sappy, inspiring stories.
