it was amazing
bookshelves: coming-of-age-narrative
Read in August, 2011

Its taken me a while to get onto the 'bandwagon' and read The Perks of Being a Wallflower because I was put off by the general consensus being that the book is a bit cliche. I honestly didn't think that at all and thoroughly enjoyed every word, again a 'coming of age' narrative which I find exceptionally easy to read and totally engaging. I have to say I totally didn't see the conclusion coming and it left me feeling a bit hollow, but after some time mulling it over and re-reading the prologue I am settled with the ending.
