it was amazing

One of my favorite books and a wonderful glimpse into the theater world of the 1920's and 1930's. I just love the writing and the magic of the story. Sadly, Hart died before completing Act Two. A word of caution, some of the anecdotes are a bit embroidered, see the biography "Dazzler: The Life and Times of Moss Hart" by Steven Bach for the full story.

Ariel I read this book ages ago and adored it. Of course it never occurred to me that Moss Hart's account might be, shall we say, embroidered. I'll have to dig up Dazzler: The Life and Times of Moss Hart. Thanks for the recommendation!
