Tsubasa is a real work of genius on the part of Clamp. Tsubasa and xXxHolic are companion series, so you have to read both of them to get the full effect of either story. Then they took characters from all their other manga series and reworked them to fit this story, so that it draws you to be interested in their other series - I'm surprised more publishing companies don't pull similar stunts. In this case, I am glad they did, since this Tsubasa looks like a really promising story! The three men are such an eclectic bunch that there's bound to be some interesting interplay, and the fact that there are limitless possible universes through which the adventurers must travel means there should be some fun and amazing settings and conflicts to come. The artwork is not as clean as I had hoped, but still quite beautiful and enchanting. I'm excited to see where this story will go, and looking forward to the next book!
