McLaren, Meg Rabbit Magic, Clarion Books, 2017. $16.99 PICTURE BOOK Content: G

A great magician and his faithful rabbit assistant, Houdini, find their roles reversed when a magic trick goes wrong. While some are sad about the change, others find opportunities in the new situation. As fame and fortune grow, decisions must be made as to whether or not things should be restored or if sharing the spotlight would bring everyone the most happiness.

Fantastic illustrations and an original story make for a book that will be enjoyed by all readers. A fun and creative story about magic gone awry will also teach children about the value of teamwork and the willingness to see others succeed. This is a book that can be enjoyed over and over as the illustrations provide for new discoveries each time the story is read.
