really liked it

Like THE REPLACEMENT, I was immediately sucked into this book. The characters in Yovanoff's books exist in strange, liminal (in-between) spaces; Yovanoff's descriptions of these spaces are incredibly vivid, and downright creepy. In THE SPACE BETWEEN, Yovanoff blurs notions of good vs. evil, and cleverly intersperses fascinating mythological exposition related to Judaism and Christianity(made me want to research more). Added bonus--there is a talking demon baby in this book (but she's kind of cute).
