it was amazing
bookshelves: read-2017, arc

I love Eleanor Oliphant. She is a heartbreaking creation. As a reader, you go on a journey of self-discovery with Eleanor and it's a rewarding experience. I was reminded of some of my favorite "broken boyman" stories like The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving and The Silver Linings Playbook, but this is a wonderful early 30s woman who is still learning to navigate life and all the confusing bits that come with it while also learning to love herself and embrace her past and just BE in this life.

I loved it.
