This is less an encyclopedia of insects than it is an homage to the world of bugs, and all that they face, what little we know about them, how ubiquitous they are, and just how fascinating they can be.. The book also has a strong word of warning about pollution and radiation--these are bad things that show up as defects almost iinstantly in the rapidly turing over generations of bugs--heed their call. Highly readable and recommended!
