I was somewhat disappointed with this book. Having read Sebold's other books Lucky & The Lovely Bones (loved both) I guess I was expecting more. The story was dull; and rather just too out there, and the ending just didn't sit well with me. I sensed the main character Claire was kind of reminicent of Sebold's own mother (as potrayed in Lucky). I just didn't get the whole scene of killing her mother. Overall, I enjoy Sebold as an author, but she definetly missed the mark with this one. I'm eager to see what her next offering will be.
