it was amazing

I was hooked from the very first scene of Wothwood. Meeting the dying Braig Vann, watching him bleed out and learning what kind of a person he is. Seeing Glannon Bel seize her opportunity, no matter how cruel it might be. These characters became flesh and blood then, and I had a hard time putting the book down. And with each new member of the cast, each detail of the world, all introduced at precise and perfect moments, I found myself drawing conclusions and threading the plot together. Natania doesn't hold your hand; she respects her readers and expects them to keep up, and that's always refreshing. Her prose and world-building are top-notch, and I can't wait to find out more about Wothwood, Brezhia, and the Broken Cities that this novella ties into.

Full disclosure: I am married to the author.
