really liked it

I enjoyed this book very much. It is quite tense, the two main characters BJ and Callie each have great sadness in their background which has ruled their lives, and stopped them moving on. You do get a sense of place, when Callie an BJ escape their kidnappers and try to get back to the Mexican border crossing, trying to avoid the drug cartel footsoldiers who are hunting them through the desert you can certainly feel their pain in the harshness of the terrain, and visualise the surroundings.

If you enjoy suspense stories with most of the romance of the story being played out in the minds of the couple this is a good read.
