My Sister's Bones

Compelling, well-written story with an excellent mix of viewpoints. The characters are authentic and three dimensional; the differing ways they see the same situation is striking and relatable. The scenes in Syria are hard-going, but the depictions of psychosis and addiction are well-researched and well drawn. The ending was inevitable, rather than predictable and there was sone interesting commentary on the nature of victimhood. Recommended.
