really liked it

Another truly excellent crime/mystery novel from Scandanavia. Jo Nesbo has been doing this for quite a while and is starting to get some popularity in the United States the last few years. I was looking for a new mystery novel that was not predictable. Sophisticated like those of Stiegg Larsson or Dennis Lehane.

Boy, did I get it in spades with Jo Nesbo! There was really nothing about reading this book that I didn't savor and enjoy. Excellent characters and plot twists. The end seemed a bit contrived but it was still unpredictable and exciting to the end. That was some of my criticism as well as some ambiguity and loose ends with a few enjoyable characters.

Otherwise a very enjoyable book and I will look forward to reading more from Mr. Nesbo!
