Nice work by Lincoln Child! The premise is pretty exciting and the setting is unique. It's a little hard to imagine the scale of the structures in the book, however hard Child tries to explain it! It is probably too large to assimilate and that gives the book a sense of surrealism...and you're not sure whether to believe it all or not. (In my case, it was 'not'!) A good, exciting read that will keep you guessing about the secrets that are hidden inside the Earth. And the last bit is simply chilling....(DO NOT turn to the last page first, after reading this. I hate to be the spoiler!!) Enjoy this one with a cuppa' hot latte on a rainy day. It'll keep you glued, if you're the kind who love an ' under the covers' kinda mystery. Believe me, after Deep Storm, you'll definitely wonder what's beneath the ground we're standing on.....
