"Stolen" is the second book in Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series. This book had a lot to live up to with its fantastic debut, but it fell a little short.

Early on in the book, Elena is kidnapped by a group run by a billionaire intent on having a "collection" of supernaturals. Since Elena is the only female werewolf in the world, this makes her a rare and valuable specimen in the collection.

The entire book is Elena in captivity. It was a little dry in parts but most often livened up with the introduction of new and interesting characters.

This book is a necessary evil for the continuation of this series, but if you can bypass the fact that there is significantly less action in this book compared to the first one then you will surely enjoy the rest of the series.

Overall, I give "Stolen" three stars because of the slow moving plot but extremely likeable new characters that promise for an excellent book #3.
