it was amazing

What a fantastic book! Nicola Yoon's writing is amazing! 98% of the whole story takes place in one day. Now that sounds really short or boring, but it is neither! (344 pages) I was enthralled the entire time. Natasha is leary and closed off. Daniel is sweet and open to anything. Natasha listens to angsty music and Daniel writes poetry. Natasha believes in science, Daniel believes in love.
Topics like racism and immigration are addressed seamlessly. The book does not feel political at all. So many books have main characters that are white, and if they're not, it's pounded into you the whole time. Natasha and Daniel are in love and that's what you get. And the writing is so fantastic!! I loved all the chapters from other characters POV. It was fun to see what was going on in minor characters lives. Anyway, read it! You'll love it! For a more detailed review, check out my blog.
