Great, great collection of short mystery stories with Lord Peter Wimsey as the main detective. There are a wide variety of crimes and criminals here, and the stories vary in strength too. I loved getting a bit of a glimpse of the Wimsey/Harriet marriage and family, which appear in the last two stories collected here. The last story, "Talboys", is published here for the first time and contains some of (what I believe are) Sayers' opinions on corporeal punishment. A really fun read, all around.
