really liked it
bookshelves: genre-realistic-fiction, level-chapter-books

I wasn't as crazy about this third Dory book as I was about the first two, mostly because now that the author has settled into a formula, the books have become a bit predictable. Still, this is a strong addition to the well-loved series, complete with a child version of Mrs. Gobble Gracker and a true-to-life struggle with the realization that Dory's friend Rosabelle reads on a higher level than she does. This will do especially well in elementary school classrooms and libraries.
