An interesting narrative about circus life during the depression. It was told from the perpective of a circus vet, who is now in his 90's. Style of writing was well done and intersting. I really enjoyed the character Jacob Jankowski. He was a hoot as an old man and a totally believable young man. Very well done.
I only gave it 3 stars because of too much sexual description. Not my favorite. I prefer somethings left to the imagination.
