really liked it

I really enjoyed reading this book. It's got mystery, romance, suspense and intrigue.

Elise is looking for her missing sister. Trent is an ex-cop helping Elise. It's a given that these two hook up. Both of these two characters are feeling guilt from their past. Him for making a huge mistake in his career; her for not being there to protect her sister. I agree with another reviewer that the feelings of guilt show up way too often throughout the book.

What I did appreciate is how the author wrote about a serial killer all the while blending in the mystery and romance really well. I also appreciated the relationship between the two sisters. It felt very real to me. Probably because I have two sisters of my own and the feelings they had felt very genuine, that I could relate to them.
