Excellent. One of my favorite books of all time. I loved the characters, the storyline and especially the writing.

Guy Portman I am looking forward to reading it soon Stacey. Have you read any other Tolstoy books?

Stacey Hello there. I would definitely recommend it! I have only read War and Peace and Anna Karenina by Tolstoy so far but they were brilliant in terms of character, philosophy and story. I was planning to read more by Tolstoy but I got sidetracked because I discovered Dostoyevsky (sorry Leo).

Guy Portman I am sure Leo is pretty fed up with that excuse by now. Solzhenitsyn is the only Russian author I have read to date, other than Nabokov's Lolita (though that is set in America). Enjoy the Dostoyevsky. I just added The Brothers Karamazov to my to-read list.
