I have mixed feelings about this book. I have enjoyed reading this series and if this is the end, then this book just had more questions. The book alternates between Hunter and Jaylinn while they read their mother's diary in hopes of getting some answers to their questions. One thing is for sure, Jaylinn sure does drink a lot and she does it more and more to cope. This is one of the questions that I have, does she become an alcoholic and how does her drinking affect taking care of her baby when she will not allow anybody else to help her? Hunter, as always, is strong and willing to take care of what is his, no matter what happens. Reading their mother's diary, you feel for her because she thought she could have it all with their dad but instead was thrust into a nightmare. Reading the diary does bring to a close that chapter of the series but like I said, more questions arose as to what happens to some of the characters
