it was amazing

Fabulous book that centers on events at the notorious women's concentration camp Ravensbruk. It introduces us to the life of American socialite Caroline Ferriday and her wartime work. Also Kasia Kuzmerick, a Polish teenage resistance courier and Herta Oberheuser, a woman doctor offered a job by the Nazis. The multiple viewpoints shed a whole new light on events we might think we know and also show us fascinating times not covered widely. A compelling read. And Martha, who I met in Florida recently at the Bookmania festival is a funny, gracious writer so be sure and catch her on her book tour.
