I guess I expected a little more. This collection of personal experiences of the Japan Earthquake didn't include anyone who personally witnessed the tsunami. It didn't include anyone who had lost a family member or a friend or a neighbor or an acquaintence. It didn't include anyone who had lost their home or anything more than a few minor personal items. So there was a limit to the stories told by the fortunate contributors of this book. Don't get me wrong, I hate that those thing happened. But those were the stories I expected to read about. I did give the book an extra star because it was compiled and published incredibly soon after the disaster and because I love that the book's profits will be donated to disaster recovery .
