bookshelves: abandoned, reviewed

This is only listed as 'abandoned' because I made the mistake of seeing the movie before reading the book - the 100 or so pages I read of the book were engrossing, but too fundamentally similar to the film to make me want to keep reading. Which is too bad, because this is clearly a case where the book is better than the movie. (A rule that is defined by its noteworthy exceptions - Blade Runner comes to mind, and I say that as a huge PKD fan.)
