A very intriguing read about a relationship I didn't know about previously. My understanding is that is has been embellished for the novel, but I like historical fiction and didn't mind that the author was twisting facts to tell the story. I think you need to be able to suspend the reality yourself in order to really enjoy historical fiction.

Chanel's and Stravinsky's genius is what brings them together, tears them apart, and yet binds them forever. Their relationship was interesting and complex, and both are shown as flawed people who make some questionable decisions. An interesting 'fly on the wall' kind of approach to this subject.
