By "read", I mean I quit reading this book. There is a lot of information in it, but the personal stories are weird. The number of times he goes into straight up bad situations is exasperating. The names of who may have been important in the development and spread of coffee was really difficult to keep up with as many of them were Arabic or African in nature and seemed very similar to my untrained eye/ear.
