Great start to a new series! Will have to read more than 1 book to be sure she gets to hit one of my top tier lists, but it's looking very promising....

Just did a re-read of this one for my local book club and I have to say that I still really enjoyed this book. As a better write up, there is a boat load of sex in this one and - just for a change - both characters are pretty much sure they want to spend time together and really love their physical relationship. They both admit to themselves that they have fallen in love with the other, but both believe that there are reasons and issues that will keep them apart. This makes for a lot less high tense and stress between the hero and heroine than is common in these books, but it is also more realistic of how you react if you met somoene who attracted you like these guys are supposed to do. One of hte book club ladies called it sappy - but I think it was mainly due to the lack of emotional conflict and fighting between the characters. Frankly, I didn't find this any more sappy than the Fifty Shades series.

This is a drago nshifter series. Dylan is the king of the clan and the clan has been ravaged by a disease that kills in a little over 2 days once it is contracted. Since the clan healers/doctors can't figure out the problem and cure or slow down the disease, Dylan decides to hire a specialist from Harvard Medical School. So enters Phoebe and so begins the race to figure out what's going on. Of course, Phoebe figures it out and when the source of the disease is discovered (and no, the cure is not found yet nor is the source eliminated) we get to the crux of the overarching plot line and the good vs evil that will drive the rest of the series. As I said - this is a re-read and as such, I have already read the others in the sereis and I will say that I really enjoyed it. I recommend it highly (in fact, it was my suggestion to the book club for the month).
