really liked it
Read from January 05 to 06, 2017

The best essays in this collection are sharp, thought-provoking and delightfully free of political correctness. I'd be very interested in reading more of Roiphe's literary and cultural criticism in the future.

It's very interesting! Well, mostly it's very interesting. Though I guess that's the case with most essay collections.

I really enjoyed the first three parts which are personal essays and literary and cultural criticism. The fourth part which is mostly her musings on the internet and social media wasn't that interesting, and it got a little repetitive towards the end. But yeah, overall I definitely think it's worth checking out!
