Coolcurry I have to disagree with the statement "awful things happen frequently enough in real life... let's not put those things into our fiction." We need to acknowledge that those awful things really do happen, and fiction can give us greater understanding and compassion towards the victims.

You may be right. I deleted my review, because I now feel that it may have been unnecessarily harsh and reactionary.
