really liked it
Read from January 02 to 05, 2017

A very well researched book on a fascinating topic very few of us knew about until now. Glad the author brought to light these extraordinarily talented “human computers”. Be forewarned: this book has lots historical and technical information and not a lot of personal stories. Look forward to the movie!

Elyse Hi Myrna...thanks for the information about the structure-- technical and historical details....
I saw the movie today .... and can't compare it to the book like you'll be able to do ... ( love your thoughts)...but we just saw the movie.
I was choked up most of the film...
Ive been especially extra sensitive to injustice lately...
guess personal things have triggered this....
but I thought the book was NOT ONLY WONDERFUL ... with a top notch cast...
But I felt so sad that this movie wasn't made YEARS ago.

Thanks so much for your review on this book!!!

Hi Elyse! I agree....it's sad that neither the movie nor the book were known/made until recently. On the other hand, as the saying goes, "better late than never". Good to hear the movie is good and I hope to watch it soon.
