really liked it

This memoir proves that classic feminist texts are still relevant today by author Staal drawing paralells between her real life experiences and the theories present on the page. As a new mother and wife suddenly thrust out of the professional world and into a domestic one, Staal feels lost about her place as a woman in the world. In order to find herself, Staal decides to audit a Feminist Texts course at Barnard. As she reads she finds guidance and strength in her own personal affairs. Both compelling and thought provoking. It also acts as a greater starter for those unsure about feminism, feminist theory, and feminist works of literature. I reccomend it to all women.
