really liked it
bookshelves: julias-books

We're on a Henkes roll the past few days. ;-)
We both really liked this book and what says the most about that is the fact that Julia and I are totally different when it comes to worrying. Ever since I was younger than Julia is now I worried A LOT. Julia has never had this bother as of yet - and I hope she never does - at least to the extent I had to deal with it as a child.
Henkes demonstrates the many, many, many worries Wemberly has throughout her days and at the same time, shows how her family, her Mom, Dad and Grandmom, want her to relax and take a breather.
Wemberly's worrying peaks when she enters school and ironically she finds that, in the end, she has nothing to worry about.
Readers will find the great illustrations Henkes' books usually bring as well as a pretty darn fine story in our opinions.
