Fantastic review!
Fantasy is one of my favorites genres too, and the cover is so beautiful...
"How would a family survive if they lost all the able men in their home?" WHAT!!!!!????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
Okay, i won't read it.

message 7: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea Fantastic review! I'm just giggling over "smells like fresh mountain air and masculinity". I do love the smell of masculinity!

message 8: by Tati (new) - rated it 1 star

Tati I loved your review! It had me biting my cheek to not crack up at the office

message 9: by ClaireEva (new)

ClaireEva Hahahha oh gosh I love this review. I was laughing non stop and kept stopping to read things out to my boyfriend (of which he got quite cranky as he was trying to read himself) but I just love reading your reviews and this one made me laugh out loud

Gwendolyn Kensinger This review is so much of how I felt! Once again we're on the same page.

Abby I'm really glad I read ur review. Do u know any good YA books that have strong female leads?? Because I'm sick of the authors stereotyping the girls as weakling who need a guy to save them.

message 12: by Abby (new) - added it

Abby Oh awesome! I'm definitely going to read those now, thank you! And yes, YA fantasy was exactly what I was looking for :)
I knew u'd give me good suggestions because we both love Splintered by a.g.howard and White Cat by Holly black

Abby Those all sound good! and you never need to apologize for giving me book recs XD

message 14: by Bec (new)

Bec Frances Love this review! You made me snort in public

message 15: by Ahmad (new)

Ahmad I had more fun reading this review than the book

Jessi (Novel Heartbeat) Oh my gawd, YES!!! You said everything that I didn't even know I felt because it's been so long since I read it and this book is so generic that I actually forgot everything. -____-

Wilma Monica THIS IS SO TRUE! I just finished it and totally feel the same especially with Cohen smell sweet. Even I yell at my boyfriend for not bathing after his work which is for 8 hours job and in a cool air-con work place. LOL

Ashley I love this review. It sums up my feelings exactly.

message 19: by Muaradia (new)

Muaradia That was an amazing review!!!! REALLY understood what sort of book it was going to be without any spoilers.... and you're really funny!!!

message 20: by Mihlean (new) - added it

Mihlean Ah damn, I was so excited to read this but reading your review I'll definitely sit this one out.. Awesome review btw!!

Taasia ✨ i totally agreed, this book and I did NOT click at all. great review cait!

message 22: by Daisy (new) - added it

Daisy Paquet Dang itttt. I wanted to read ittt but I won't if it's cliche!

Enna Isilee Just finished this today. And you nailed it.

W. Gregory Kett I cannot agree more. I wanted a strong and capable heroine, and got a princess wannabe ruled by her lusts.

message 25: by KimberlyRose (new) - added it

KimberlyRose Omg, I laughed all the way through your review, starting with my first bursting guffaw at "quietly and gently smother myself."
