Synopsis: "Harry Potter is midway through both his training as a wizard and his coming of age. Harry wants to get away from the pernicious Dursleys and go to the International Quidditch Cup with Hermione, Ron, and the Weasleys. He wants to dream about Cho Chang, his crush (and maybe do more than dream). He wants to find out about the mysterious event that supposed to take place at Hogwarts this year, an event involving two other rival schools of magic, and a competition that hasn't happened for hundreds of years. He wants to be a normal, fourteen-year-old wizard. But unfortunately for Harry Potter, he's not normal - even by wizarding standards.
And in his case, different can be deadly."

My Review: I have really struggled with this series up to this point and while this book is an improvement over the previous 3, it still isn't my cup of tea. I did like getting to see a little bit of the darker side and what they are doing to rise back into power. The characters are clearly going through those awkward early teen years where they are whiny, selfish and just flat out annoying. I still am not really a fan of any of the main characters. I understand entirely where Ron is coming from for the first half of the book. The introduction of Mad -Eye Mooney definitely gave us a little something, I am very intrigued by his character. The one thing about this book is that it does a good job of keeping action going but at the same allowing for down time for the characters and time to pass, I always get irritated by books that have a ton of action in a single week when it is clear that the characters need food and rest, so at least that is done right.
