it was amazing

If you're a fan of YA, paranormal or otherwise, you want this book.

You wouldn't know it by looking at her, but Brodi Aston has balls. Big suckers. The way she handled the chronology of her story was daring, but beautifully executed. I can't imagine the story being told better in any other way.

Sometimes you have to buy a book because of it's incredible cover, then you hope the story is half as good. This time, the story may have won, and considering the cover, that's high praise.

I won't sum it up, because I wouldn't want to give anything away. You want a blurb, read the back cover. But I will say I thought the characters were authentic, and I cared about every decision they made. The writing was fluid and I read it in two sittings, even though I wanted to make it last. I hope the next book is hot on the heels of the first.

Go ahead, Ms. Ashton. Let that head inflate. You earned it.
