liked it

Started off well, but in the end I felt it succumbed to too many romance novel cliches which made for a disappointing read. That type of premise (revenge/seduction) is not new, but I was intrigued by it -50 pages in it was great. Well written, couldn't put it down. The problem starts when they get married, also compounded by the fact that he didn't care enough to come after her/they were separated for four months and he seemingly didn't care. I always feel that there has to be enough desire between the two leads that this wouldn't happen, so it definitely threw me off.

Then more distressingly is the amount of times they have a misunderstanding or one of them overreacts, and so he leaves her at his estate. Not just once, but repeatedly. It felt like the author was making too many issues just for the sake of conflict and keeping them apart, which I did not like.
