really liked it

Newberry Honor Winner is a short read at one hundred eighteen pages. I knocked it out in a couple of hours and it was a good story written about a boy, Eagan, who is entranced by a fable that surrounds a misty mountain called, Kneeknock Rise.

The adventure starts when he arrives in Instep for the annual fair and then his curiosity drives him to discover the truth that surrounds the mystery. Nobody knows what is up on the mountain and anyone who as ventured to explore it never returns.

Like I said, it is an easy read. Written in third person the story is character driven and is fun to read on a rainy day.
