I have a love/hate relationship with Skins. It seems to start really well and then have an epic fail towards the end of each season. The book is between season 3 and 4. I'm not sure if you'd enjoy this book if you haven't seen skins because it assumes you know all the characters and what they are like and what's happened to them in the past. Each chapter is told from a different characters point of view and this is something the book has got spot on. When it says at the top that it's Cook's point of view it's totally believable. Their personalities really shine through. The plot was alright, it made for an interesting read but it doesn't really tie into the tv show like it should. There is no way that Katie would have gone to stay with Effy. If you don't look to much into it then it's a good read for fans of the show.
