it was amazing
bookshelves: favorites
Recommended for: anyone wanting to learn how to cook or improve their cooking skills

This is the only cookbook you will ever need. I love this book and I love Mark Bittman. I have been greatly disappointed with The Joy of Cooking throughout the years and this book is what I hoped Joy would be. Directions are straight forward and unlike some recipe books they usually don't call for some obscure spice or such.

I think this would be a perfect gift for a college graduation present or a wedding present.

Zoe I love this and use it all the time. I second your suggestion that it be a college graduation or wedding gift.
