Book Review-

At first, I thought this book was going to be about only Rumors and hardcore gossip, definitely not the good kind. The things that everyone makes up and everyone believes it well, you know the typical high school life that goes on in any school no matter if you’re in a rich or poor community. It wasn’t like that at all in this book; it was about the lives of teenagers living in the upper eastside who are most likely considered Privileged, except maybe for one…
Dan is Serena’s New boyfriend he has had a big thing for her since the first time he saw her at a party in the tenth grade. He was shy to talk to her because of the fact that Serena was really popular and she hung out with the “cooler people”, in a way he probably thought he didn’t feel like embarrassing him self. He never spoke to her until senior year. They just had this great attraction towards one another. Like magnets opposites attracted, making a perfect fit.
The main character is Serena , she is the rich blonde who everyone knows for the most popular in the school and goes out to party, but that life as everyone has known about Serena’s is now over. She has secretly gone away and has some big changes done about her life; she has learned a lot about who she is was as a person and who she wants to be. I think this change has done her well, she is different, and she wants everyone to see what she has become. There must have been moments where she has felt regretful and wonders if coming back has been mistake, but everyone learns from there mistakes.
