Emmy Watson is just trying to make it happen. It being the saving of her family farm, Wishing Bridge Farm. She’s bound and determined to hold onto her heritage—even without the support of her two sisters—and make their small Connecticut farm a destination site for a beautiful vintage wedding. But first she needs to get through the first wedding with a bride who’s worse than the worst bridezilla ever recorded, oh and learning that her weekend hook-up from the past is now squarely in her present—he’s the best man.

Christopher Henderson is out to prove to the TV executives making the decision on his new adventure show that his bad boy reputation is a thing of the past. Christopher is hoping he’ll meet at least one candidate for a “fake” girlfriend during his childhood best friend’s wedding festivities—one who’ll be willing to help him out in exchange for a trip to Hawaii. Too bad all he can think about is Emmy once the activities get started.

Can two people who have been running from their feelings about love and a future put their pasts behind them to make a go of what’s sparking between them?

I LOVE a small town romance, one where the townspeople play almost as important a role in the romance as the main characters. Add in a second-chance romance on top of a small town romance and I am ALL IN!! Falling for the Best Man was a perfect blend of both tropes, and I was sucked into the world of Emmy and Christopher from the very first page. Emmy and Christopher are both such strong, likable characters. They both thought they knew what they wanted from life. I loved how their friends and family were so supportive of them too—even if they knew WAY too much about their goings on. Ah, the best of small town living. ~ Missy, 4.5 stars
