What happens when you mix Cats with Punk Music?? Something freaking awesome is what!!

What an imagination!

So Amy is a young tomboy..er tomcat. She meets some of her older brother's friends. She falls in love punk music. (Punk Rock...any rock music is amazing!!) I love a lot of the bands that are written about throughout this book.

The book also touches on the subject of a parent, or both, being absent from a person's life, and divorce. It is a great way to teach kids to love themselves, and worry more about the people who do love them, than the ones that do not. It teaches us to love ourselves as we are, and to not change for anyone.

Our Lady of Righteous Rage is the story of Amy, and her friends, their lives, and how they grow together. They stay true to their music, to themselves, and to their fans! The characters being cat/people is just the icing on the cake!

I urge you to read Our Lady of Righteous Rage. I can guarantee you will love it as much as I did!!!
