really liked it
bookshelves: picturebook, books-for-empathy

A well done "issue" picturebook. Many times books about social issues are poorly written and poorly illustrated--despite the best intentions. This book, however, creates a powerful family narrative to show empathy and does in a well-researched, well-designed and artistic way.
