really liked it

This is a great book! I read it all the time on home visits. It has beautiful pictures that depict real diversity in families and babies doing a variety of activities that babies and their families do. It is written in sing song rhyme, which babies (and toddlers) love. My complaints: lots of depictions of babies in contraptions (including one where the baby is seemingly alone in their car seat in the car..yikes!) as an early childhood educator I would much rather see depictions of babies in arms or on floors (where they can develop and interact with their environment)rather than in contraptions. I can't find this book in Spanish and it's too cramped for me to translate it myself (see next comment). Also, I would recommend getting the hard cover rather than the board book (which I have) because the board book is rather small for everything that is going on and looks a bit busy and cramped.
