I am NEVER disappointed when I read any thing, yes, any thing written by Joey W. Hill . . . .

Rough Canvas is revelatory, tearing all falsehoods and fakery from the eyes of two men: Thomas, from a North Carolina farm family, filled with all the searing talent of a born in the bone artist; responsible, caring, bearing the burden of an oldest child----and Marcus, with a razor-like intelligence, GQ-handsome, a New York gallery owner who specializes in ferreting out unrecognized artistic talent . . .
Thomas is a natural sexual submissive----Marcus is a Dominant, a Master of the D/s lifestyle--
And they are overwhelmed by each other . . .

Love strikes them both like the lightning from a storm cloud, violently and with no warning--
the results are not pretty, for themselves, for their families, for their friends--

But it is a grind of a turning point, in both their lives, as lust and desire takes old scars and anguished moments, strips away all pretense and assumptions, to the raw essential need that Thomas and Marcus possess for each other--

An extraordinary, amazing and emotional read . . . Thank you, Ms.Hill . . .
