Lightweight and awfully talky, but fun. Ended up feeling like a Vertigo comic.

I do appreciate that I wasn't left hanging on a cliff. This is a complete novel with an actual ending, even though it is also the first in a series.

I'm not burning to read more, but the next time I have, say, a five hour flight to live through, I might be tempted to pick up one of the sequels.
